I know it's time to close my eyes when I have to read the same sentence three times. I am a sound sleeper.
I'm a co-owner and have been at Marpac since 2010 - where has the time flown? Mac makes me wear my seat belt when driving the fork lift. I am addicted to spreadsheets. And it makes my day when I can eat lunch for under $6.
I gave up golf so I could keep hunting and fishing, and now I keep dead animal parts in my office to scare unruly visitors. I'm married with two daughters, but my dachshund's a male.
Everyone in my family sleeps with a dohm, including my 7 year old golden retriever, Mason. I am a fetus position sleeper which (I am told) means that I am tough on the outside but sensitive at heart.
After acquiring Marpac in early 2010, Gordon and I assumed the titles of "No Title." I focus on how we stay true to our core values while continuing to grow efficiently and profitably. On any given day, you will find me walking the halls, talking with team members, horsing around with our production team, and even taking out the trash. We take our work seriously, but also have fun
With a wife and three teenagers, free time is a precious commodity. Team sports are a big part of our family. When our sports schedule permits, you will find us in and around the water at the beach or on the boat. And yes... I DID catch the white marlin on the wall in my office.
I sleep “early to bed and early to rise”, typically 10:30 PM to bed and 5:30 AM to rise. I ALWAYS have a Marpac running, Dohm at home, Zohne on the road.
I lead most Marpac Sales and Marketing efforts.
I live near the historic Intracoastal Waterway in Wilmington, NC. The waterway is a 3,000 mile long route of inland passageways that has protected mariners along the US Atlantic and Gulf coasts for over two centuries.
ALL members of my family sleep comfortably with the soothing sound of white noise. The peaceful consistent sound helps me fall asleep easier and sleep more deeply. My wife says that she needs the sound to mask my SNORING, which I have personally never heard, so that makes her a liar. (Just Kidding, Honey!)
For the past 25 years of my career I have worked “FOR” 2 of the largest top 100 companies in the World and now I’m working “WITH” Marpac. Marpac represents prideful US manufacturing and a truly dedicated culture that strives to take care of its most important asset, its Customers. It’s both meaningful and fulfilling to be a part of an organization that understands and controls its true purpose and direction, I just hate that it took me so long to get here.
I’m living a truly blessed life here on the Cape Fear coast with my wife of 25 years and our two children. We all spend as much time as possible on, in or near the water. I prefer to go catching over fishing, but both are all good with family and friends.
I am a relatively sound sleeper. I brought home my first Dohm when I started with the company, and haven’t seen it since. However, I HAVE noticed a consistent sound coming from an upstairs bedroom in the house every evening, and find a certain teenager in the family sleeping in even later than his usual.
I recently joined the Marpac Family in June 2014 as the Director of Sales. My role is to oversee sales to customers in North America for all Marpac products. I bring over 20 years of sales experience and leadership to Marpac; I am excited to be here, and look forward to being a valuable contributor.
I am a husband, and father to 3 aspiring athletes between the ages of 10 & 14. When I’m not at Marpac or out visiting customers, I can usually be found on a ball field somewhere. Coach, Chauffeur, and Gatorade Fetcher are among some of my “other” titles.
I am told that I develop superhuman blanket-pulling powers when I sleep. I even have a signature move: the snatch-and-roll-away-with-80%-of-the-covers. I don't believe any of this.
I'm the director of Marketing, which means that I probably care too much about things like color and font. I love what I do and the people I work with, and I'm sleeping better, too, thanks to the very first gift the company gave me (take a wild guess).
I hail from the Caribbean, originally, which means that I spend most of the winter in fleece, trying not to whine too much. My husband and I live on a little farm and get slightly crazier with every additional animal. I ride horses and run to stay sane.
I sleep great thanks to our Dohm! I used to wake up in the middle of the night and get consumed by thoughts that would keep me awake, but not anymore! The soothing, familiar “shhhhh” sound lulls me back to sleep.
I am a Senior Accountant at Marpac, as well as Employee/ Community Relations. I love my job and never get bored because I get to work with everyone in the company in some capacity.
I enjoy being outdoors and in the water as much as possible, which is very convenient when you have an active little boy to keep up with. We go to the beach, kayak, boat, swim, hike, bike, and entertain our two Australian Shepherds with lots of frisbee. In our spare time, we go to as many concerts as possible. My active lifestyle requires lots of sleep – so I’m working for just the right company!
I dream in Scarlet and Gray! (see below)
I'm the Inside Sales Specialist for our beloved Sound Conditioners.
As a working mom with two young children, my husband and I run a nonstop household that requires three Dohms and a Zohne for travel. We believe in playing hard and sleeping seriously. Each day is far from perfect, but we take joy in the hilariously crazy happenings that come with little ones and long days. We are also Ohio natives, faithful members of the Buckeye nation (and Browns, Indians and Cavs too)... (see above)
When I sleep I like to have my Dohm running at FULL BLAST!!!!!
I am currently in charge of shipping and receiving.
I like to cycle. I am also the proud parent of a soldier; my daughter is a combat medic stationed at Ft Stewart.
Apparently I’ve converted our “entire” family to the Dohm. Just when we thought the bed was ours again (no kids sneaking in), here comes the dog, who loves to crawl under the covers and curl up between my husband and me every morning.
I’ve been with Marpac since 2011 and I pride myself on living up to my name by providing the best possible customer service to our valued users each and every day. Questions, concerns, or issues – give me a call and I’ll be happy to help.
I’m a mountain girl, born and raised near Boone, NC. After marrying my husband I moved here to the coast of NC, and now I get the best of both worlds: I live near the beach but go home to the mountains several times a year. Together with my husband, we have two wonderful children and a third “puppy-child.” When I’m not helping customers at Marpac, I like to hang out with my family, do crafts, enjoy nature, and watch movies.
I sleep with at least three Jack Russells plastered to my head, back, and legs. Since I started working for Marpac, we (the kids and I) use the Marsona, so no one hears outside noises at night, and thus no one wakes me up by barking and running from the room. (I also use the sound conditioner any time I am crating a new foster dog.)
I’m an accountant. That pretty much sums it up! ;)
I spent 8 years paddling outrigger canoes in California before moving back to NC 2 years ago, bringing that mostlyunheardof sport with me. And I am the Senior State Representative for the Carolinas Region of Russell Rescue, Inc., which just means that I rescue a lot of Jacks, move them to foster homes, pay their bills, adopt them out to great homes, and then start over again!
I sleep like a champion because I am wicked proud to be a native Bostonian, the city of champions.
I am the assistant to our sales team. I handle all sorts of questions for both dealers and end-users. I enjoy working with our customers to help meet their needs and solve any issues they may face.
I’ve lived in the Wilmington area for 8 years with my husband and our loyal feline family. When not at Marpac, I can be found enjoying the beach whenever possible.
I have no problems sleeping… especially on the couch (I like my naps)!
I’ve been with Marpac since June of 2007 and have worn many “hats” since joining the team. It truly is a team atmosphere which makes it an awesome place to work. My primary focus now is on sales of our LED Safety Lights and Poolkeeper.
Married in 1998 to my beautiful wife Susan, a story of love at first sight. I proposed 3 months from the first day we met, and we were married exactly one year from the day we met. My son was born on March 3, 2000 and my daughter was born one year and one day later on March 4, 2001. I guess you can say I don’t like to waste time… When I’m not hauling my two teenagers around for their various extracurricular activities, you will find me on the tennis courts I play in several leagues throughout the year.
